• <br /> Ground Water Monitoring Report Third Quarter 2000 <br /> .n . , GeWeke Land Development& Marketing ; <br /> 16,Soutfi Cherokee Lame,Lodi,,California <br />' .0.- ' INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the,request of Geweke Land Development & Marketing (GLDM), and in accordance with <br /> Cleanup and Abatement,Order No. 93,701,Advanced GeoEnvironrnentaI, Iric. (AGE) has.prepared <br /> this report of monitoring field activities performed at 16 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California <br /> during the third quarter of 2000. The site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figufe 1. Structures <br />' and well locations related to the site are shown on Figure'2. <br />' This report documents collection of ground water samples for laboratory analysis to characterize the <br /> current hydrocarbon=impact to grouod water and monitoring activities at the site:during•the third <br /> quarter of 2000. Results of previous investigations ar`e detailed in the.Problem Assessment Report <br /> (PAR), the Quarterly Report - March 1996 and the Quarterly Report - . arch"`and June 1999. <br /> Analytical results from 'previous monitoring events.are included in Tables 2, 3, 5. and 6 of this <br /> report. _ <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Quarterly ground water monitoring was performed,'on 27 September 2000, Field work was . <br /> performed.in accordance with San Joaquin County'Public Health Services - Environmental Health <br /> 1 :Department(PHS-EHD) and.Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) <br /> guidelines,for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites. , <br /> 2.1. MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES' ; <br />' On 27 Sepltembqr,2000, a,Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in sevenwells relative to,the tops of the well casings (Table 1). Moniton"nwell MW-6 was purged.; <br />' using -a Grundfos.submersible purge pump Wells..MW-7'.through"MW-9, MW-11, MW-12 and <br /> MW-14.were purged using disposable plastic bailer. Approximately,-'ix to ten gallons of water'(a <br /> minimum of three easing-water volumes) were removed from each well: <br /> Temperature, pH and"coriductivity of the purge water were.measured at regular purge-volume <br /> intervals aing`a Hydac water analyzer and the readings were recorded on field logs: Field data'and <br /> 1 work sheets are included in Appendix A..T,he purged water was placed in DOT=approved drums and <br /> stored on-site. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvirommentall Inc. <br />
