COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES. <br /> The depth to water was.remeasured after purging to-ensure a minimum of 80 per cent recharge prior ; <br /> to sampling. Water samples were.collected from each purged well-using disposable-plastic bailers.,- , ,r- <br />(, Immediately upon retrieval, the samples were transferred into 40-inl.•EPA-approved VOA vials <br /> containing 0.5m118%hydrochloric acid.as a sample preservative. The samples were labeled, stored <br /> on ice, and transported in a chilled container-'under chain-of-custody, to McCampbell Analytical, ' <br /> Inc. (MAI), a' State of.California Department of Health Services (DHS}certified analytical <br /> laboratory.�All samples were analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br />,.. , Methods 5030/8015m; ' :- <br /> • Volatile.organic compounds (benzene,,toluene,.ethylbenzene and'xylenes: BTEX) with <br /> methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) in accordance with-EPA method 8020/1602; and <br /> • Volatile organic compounds with fuel oxygenates; di-isopropyl,ether (DIPS), ethyl tertiary- <br /> butyl ether(ETBE), MTBE, tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME) and,tertiary,butanol_(TBA) <br /> in accordance with EPA Method 8260/8260m. <br /> Samples collected from MW-9 and MW-14.were also transferred into one-liter'amber bottleswithout <br /> added preservative. These samples were_transported to A. Keith Kaufman in Culver City anid <br /> analyzed for physicochemical properties arid microbiological enumeration. <br /> 2.3. RECEPTOR WELL SURVEY <br /> A survey;was performed to identify potential receptor wells near,the subject property- The City of . <br /> Lodi was contacted for'the location.and,construction specifications for municipal:wells near-the site. <br /> "A database from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) and,a well location map <br /> prepared by the'§an Joaquin County Flood.Control and Water Conservation District{SJCFC&WCD) <br /> were examined to:locate wells near the site. A-2,000 foot search radius from the-site was,,used:- <br /> Owners/residents of nearby properties within approximately I000'feet.of the site were contacted <br /> regarding wells near'the site. <br /> •2.4. SURROUNDING SITES' <br /> A survey was conducted to identify sites near the-subj ect property-that have a potential to impact the- <br />' subject property.'The PHS-EHD Site Mitigation Database List, the CVRWQCB SLICIDOD/DOE <br /> list and the CVRWQCB LUST list were reviewed-for.records of investigations near the subject <br />' Advanced GeoEmvi'onmental,•1nC <br />
