12 February 1999
• AGE-NC Project No. 95-0109
Concentrations decreased between June and September 1998. Concentrations were higher
during the December 1998 monitoring event, following additions of hydrogen peroxide in
September 1998.
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends:
• Additional hydrogen peroxide should be added to monitoring wells where concentrations of
dissolved oxygen remain low.
• The next quarterly ground water monitoring at the site should be scheduled for March 1999.
In accordance with the Revised Monitoring and Reporting Program, all monitoring wells
containing sufficient water will be sampled at that time. Samples will be analyzed for TPH-g,
BTE&X and oxygenated compounds.
• Soil probe borings are scheduled to be advanced at the site in February 1999. Probings will
be advanced to confirm degradation of hydrocarbons in soil in response to remediation
efforts.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon field
measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points(i.e. ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may
vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the
professional recommendations contained in this report.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
