r Al <br /> Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2003 <br /> GEWEKE LAND DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING <br /> 16 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California <br /> 10 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request ofGeweke Land Development&Marketing(GLDM),and in accordance with Cleanup <br /> and Abatement Order No 93-701,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this report <br /> of environmental activities performed at 16 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California during the third <br /> quarter of 2003 The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring of wells MW-7, <br /> MW-8,MW-9,MW-11,MW-12,MW-14 and MW 15 through MW-19 The site and its surroundings <br /> are illustrated on Figure 1 Monitoring well and boring locations related to the site are shown on <br /> Figures 1 and 2 <br /> Results of previous investigations are detailed in the Problem Assessment Report (PAR), the <br /> Quarterly Report-March 1996 and the Quarterly Report-March and June 1999 Analytical results <br /> for ground water samples from previous monitoring events are included in Table 3 of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Nineteen on- and off-site monitoring wells were monitored for depth to water and eleven on- and <br /> off-site monitoring wells were purged and sampled in December 2003 Well MW2 could not be <br /> accessed and subsequently could not be monitored this quarter Field work was performed in <br /> accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) Revised <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program dated 27 June 2001 <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> A Herron water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water to the nearest 0 01-foot <br /> in all nineteen wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevation in each well <br /> was calculated by subtracting the depth to ground water from the surveyed well casing elevation <br /> (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were measured, wells MW-11 and MW-14 were purged using new disposable <br /> plastic bailers and wells MW-7,MW-8,MW-9,MW-11,MW-12 and MW 15 through MW-19 were <br /> purged using a Watera Hydrolift Pump <br /> Between 6 0 and 10 75 gallons of water (a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well) were <br /> purged from wells MW-7, MW-9, MW-11, MW-12, MW-14, MW-15, MW-16 and MW-19 and <br /> approximately 30 gallons were removed from MW-17 and MW-18 Approximately 3 gallons ofwater <br /> were removed from well MW-8 before the well was purged dry <br /> Advanced CeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br />
