INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Geweke Land Development & Marketing (GLDM), and in accordance-with -` <br /> Cleanup and Abatement Order No 93-701,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared <br /> this report of environmental activities performed at 16 South Cherokee Lane,Lodi,California during <br /> I the second quarter of 2003 The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring of wells <br /> MW-7,MW-8,MW-9„MW-12,MW-14 and MW 1 S through MW-19 The site and its surroundings <br /> are illustrated on Figure 1 Monitoring well and boring locations related to the site are shown on <br /> IFigures 1 and 2 <br /> Results of previous investigations are detailed in the Problem Assessment Report (PAR), the <br /> I Quarterly Report--March 1996 and the Quarterly Report-March and June 1999 Analytical results <br /> for ground water samples from previous monitoring events are included in Table 3 of this report <br /> I2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> • Nineteen on-and off-site monitoring wells were monitored for depth to water and ten on-and off-site <br /> monitoringwells were purged and sampled in June 2003 Well MW 1 was and could not be <br /> P & p �' <br /> monitored this quarter Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD) guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells <br /> and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for <br /> investigations of underground storage tank(UST) sites <br /> 2 1 _ WELL MONITORING AND PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water to the nearest 0 01-foot <br /> in all mneteen wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevation in each well <br /> was calculated by subtracting the depth to ground water from the surveyed well casing elevation <br /> (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were measured, wells MW-7 and MW-14 were purged using new disposable <br /> plastic bailers and wells MW-8,MW-9, MW-12 and MW15 through MW-19 were purged using a <br /> IWatera Hydrolift Pump <br /> Between 5 75 and 11 gallons of water(a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well)were purged <br /> Ifrom wells MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, MW-12, MW=14, MW-15, MW-16 and MW-19 and <br /> approximately 29 50 and 28 25 gallons were removed from MW-17 and MW-18, respectively <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br /> n <br />
