INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Geweke Land Development & Marketing (GLDM), and in accordance with <br /> Cleanup and Abatement Order No 93-701,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared <br /> this report of environmental activities performed at 16 South Cherokee Lane,Lodi,California during <br /> the first quarter of 2003 The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring of wells <br /> MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, MW-12 and MW-14 through MW-19 The site and its surroundings are <br /> illustrated on Figure 1 Monitoring well and boring locations related to the site are shown on <br /> Figures 1 and 2 <br /> Results of previous investigations are detailed in the Problem Assessment Report (PAR), the <br /> I Quarterly Report-March 1996 and the Quarterly Report-March and June 1999 Analytical results <br /> for ground water samples from previous monitoring events are included in Table 3 of this report <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> I Twenty on-and off-site monitoring wells were monitored for depth to water and ten on-and off-site <br /> monitoring wells were purged and sampled in March 2003 Field work was performed in accordance <br /> with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for sampling ground <br /> Iwater monitoring wells and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) <br /> guidelines for investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 21 WELL MONITORING AND PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> IA Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water to the nearest 0 01-foot <br /> ' in all twenty wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevation in each well <br /> was calculated by subtracting the depth to ground water from the surveyed well casing elevation <br /> (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were measured,wells MW-8,MW-9,MW-12 and MW-14 through MW-19 were " <br /> purged using a Watera Hydrolift Pump,well MW-7 was purged using a dedicated,disposable bailer <br /> Between 6 5 and 12 gallons of water(a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well)were purged <br /> from wells MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, MW-12, MW-14, MW-15, MW-16 and MW-19 and <br /> approximately 30 gallons removed from MW-17 and MW-18 <br /> Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
