(AGE) has prepared -' , <br /> this report of;monitoring and remediation field activities performed at.16 South Cherokee Lane, <br /> Lodi, California during the fourth quarter of 1997. The site and its surroundings.a. illustrated on <br /> Figure 1, -'Vicinity-Ma,0. Structures and well locations related,to the site are,shown,on Figure 2 -Site, <br /> Plan. <br /> Ground water and soil. inanitoring is scheduled on a periodic basis to assess remediation progress, <br /> and microbiological,'activities. The scope of work covered by this report was to collect and'evaluate <br /> field data, to-.summarize the progress of the in-situ bioremediation project, and-to document <br /> monitoring activities at the site during the fourth quarter of 1997. Results of.previous investigations ; Y. <br /> and monitoring events at the site are detailed in,the Problem Assessment,Report(PAR) and the <br />' Quarterly Report-March 1996 <br /> • 2.0. .PROCEDURES <br /> 2.1: MONITORING'WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 1,6 December 1997, a Solinst water-level meter was used to measure-the depth to ground water. <br /> in each.monitoring well relative idth'e-top.of the well casing,(Table..1).:Monitoring wells MW-7, <br />' <br /> MW.-8,-MW-9 MW-11 MW-12•and MW-14 were then ' a 2-inch diameter submersible ur ed usin . <br /> ' P . g .g <br /> pump. Monitoring ,well MW-6 was,purged using a clean PVC bailer. A minimum of-three'well <br /> volumes•of water was`rernoved from each purged well. In accordance with the revised moriitoring <br /> and'r'eporting program No. 93-701, monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-S;.MW-10, MW-13:and <br /> EW". were not sampled.-, <br /> Temperature;pH and conductivity of the purge water were measured at regular;intervals using an .` <br /> ICM-water analyzer. Dissolved oxygen was measured at the'beginning of purging of each well . <br /> utilizing a YSI-55 rh-situ percent oxygen meter.'Monitoring,well stabilization data and field sheets - <br /> are.included-iri Appendix A-. The purge water wasplaced`in DOT-approved drums and stored on=site.; ' <br /> ,2.2.
