' Mr. Kevin McKibben
Advanced GeoEnvironmental (North)
GLDM
' December 29, 1997 ;
Page 2
' COMMENT
' Data from sample analyses indicate no substantive changes in physicochemical and
microbiological criteria since the previous sampling event. Bionutrient exhaustion continues
' to exert a dominant influence on the referenced results, with levels of biologically available
oxidized and reduced forms of nitrogen remaining well below those levels necessary to
maintain even moderate levels of target-specifc biodegradative activity. As before, this
sampling also indicated that phosphates, necessary for microbial metabolism and synthetic
' activity, are fully depleted. While some degree of residual microbial activity remains, it is once
again recommended that efforts be undertaken to resupplement necessary bionutrients which
would stimulate the growth and biodegradative activity of the ambient indigenous microbial
' population.
Should you have any questions concerning this information, please do not hesitate to contact
me.
' AKK:ch
