Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi, CA <br /> Public Health Services,Environmental Health District(PHS/EHD)has reviewed the May 30,1991 Work Plan <br /> for Site Remediation for the above referenced location submitted by Applied GeoSystems. <br /> Ultramar plans to reinstall and operate a vapor-extraction system to remove residual hydrocarbons from soil <br /> underlying the site. A San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) permit to operate is <br /> required prior to start-up. Please submit the necessary application to APCD by July 31, 1991. <br /> Prior to initiation of a remedial action and pursuant to Section 280.67, Subpart I of 40 CFR of the Federal <br /> Register, PHS/EHD will conduct a public notice to consider comments on your Final Remedial/Corrective <br /> Action Plan. Please prepare an Executive Summary of your draft Final Remedial Plan (FRP) to accompany <br /> our public notice by July 31, 1991. The draft FRP should provide a summary of: <br /> -identifiable remedial alternatives; <br /> -risk associated with conditions at the site, as well as risks with the identifiable alternatives; and <br /> -the proposed and implemented remedial alternatives. <br /> A full-volume draft FRP (along with pertinent documentation) is to be made available for review at the Lodi <br /> Public Library at 201 W.Locust,Lodi. The draft FRP will also be made available for review at the PHS/EHD <br /> office, 445 N. San Joaquin, Stockton, during normal business hours. The selection of the remedial <br /> alternative will be made only upon review and consideration of comments received during the public <br /> comment period.
