f <br /> Sampling of Ground-Water Monitoring Wells December 20, 1990 <br /> Beacon Station No. 502, Lodi, California AGS 86091-8 <br /> The ground-water samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg)using Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)Method 8015 and benzene,toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and total xylene isomers (BTEX) using EPA Method 602 at the Applied <br /> Analytical Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, California (Hazardous Waste Testing <br /> Laboratory No. 1211). The results of these and previous analyses are summarized in'fable <br /> 3. The geologist was unable to collect a samvle from well MW-1 because the well was dry. <br /> Hydrocarbons were not detected in wells MW-2 through MW-5. <br /> On the basis of laboratory results of ground-water samples collected during the past year <br /> of monitoring we recommend discontinuing quarterly monitoring of the ground-water duality <br /> and that the investigation of ground-water quality be closed. We recommend forwarding <br /> signed copies of this letter report to Ms. Laura Cotulla of the San Joaquin County Local <br /> Health District,Environmental Health Division,P.O.Box 2009,Stockton, California 95201, <br /> and Mr. Gordon Boggs of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, 3443 Routier Road, Sacramento, California 95827-3098.
