Job No. 00760 Page: 5 <br /> gas hydrocarbon concentrations of 27 , 300 ppm. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The four currently piped vapor wells (VW-6 through VW-9) <br /> and monitoring well MW-4 should be connected to a manifold <br /> for vacuum extraction. Additionally, monitoring well MW-2 <br /> should be piped for use as a vacuum extraction well . The <br /> manifold should be constructed of 3/4" (or larger) PVC <br /> fittings and pipe. This will allow for adequate extraction <br />• volumes. Based on these recommendations, the system to be <br /> installed is represented in Fig. 1. Air permits for this <br /> system are currently applied for from the San Joaquin <br /> County Air Pollution Control District. <br />
