PRMSED CLOSURE PLAN <br /> Beacon Station No. 502 <br /> 35 North Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi, Caiifornia <br /> Delta Project No. 40-92-813 <br /> Page 2 <br />' analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> gasoline (TPHg) using methods approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the <br />' California Department of Health Services. The sampling methods and a quality assurance plan are <br /> described in Appendix A. <br /> 1 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division will grant regulatory closure of the site if laboratory <br />' analysis of the soil samples indicates that no soil sample contains concentrations of TPHg greater than <br /> 10 parts per million(ppm), benzene greater than 0.005 ppm (analytical method limit of detection), toluene <br />' greater than 1.0 ppm, ethylbenzene greater than 0.68 ppm, or xylenes greater than 1.75 ppm. <br />' 4.0 SCHEDULE <br /> The soil sampling program outlined in this report will begin as soon as possible after regulatory approval <br /> is obtained. After site closure is obtained, all existing monitoring wells and vapor extraction wells will <br /> be destroyed according to guidelines set by local regulatory agencies. <br /> I <br /> RPT049.TA <br />
