This work was done in accordance with <br /> directives from San Joaquin County Public Health Se vices Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHSEHD) as a result of soil sampling collected on June 16, 2000 and previous sampling <br /> conducted during the removal of the underground storage tank(UST) removal on July 23, 1999. <br /> Only the original sampling conducted on July 23, 1999 identified a small volume of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon contaminated soil immediately adjacent afid under the former UST. <br /> The purpose of the report of findings from the current soil boring was to collect and analyze by <br /> analytical laboratory soil samples from vertical depths below the previous soil samples to <br /> confirm the absence of MTBE, and petroleum hydroc bon soil contamination from underneath <br /> the former UST site. A copy of the former report submitted to your office on July 15, 2000 is <br /> included for your review. The Exhibit 3 of that reportas been amended to include the location <br /> of soil boring HH-SB2. <br /> 1 <br />
