What is
meant by San Joaquin County having winter weather restrictions?
Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartney0sicehd.com
From: Munn, Julie [mailto:Julie.D.Munn@arcadis-us.com]
Sent: Friday, March 14, 2014 4:43 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: Case #1708, 25775 Patterson Pass Road,Tracy, CA- BP Site 6100
Hi Vicki—
ARCADIS subcontractor Blaine Tech services has planned to do groundwater sampling at the above
referenced site for the first quarter on Tuesday, March 18th. Several of the wells are within San Joaquin
County(Public Services Division) right-of-way. During every previous event, Blaine Tech has been able to
secure the permit a week or so in advance. When they applied for the permit March 6,they were told by
the replacement for Scott Cooper(previous permit approver)that this would take 3+weeks to complete.
If the permit is not approved in a timely manner, Blaine Tech can either complete the sampling on the
18th as planned skipping the wells in public right-of-way... or potentially not sample this quarter and
sample beginning of second quarter instead.
I would prefer to keep the sampling in the first quarter, so I was wondering if there was any chance you
can talk to the encroachment permit folks about expediting this permit. In the future, Blaine Tech will
ensure that they apply for any permits well in advance of the sampling event.
Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you in advance. Have a great weekend!
Julie D.
