A"no further action <br /> required" letter from EHD dated July 13, 1998, was provided for this site for underground <br /> storage tanks that were removed from the site in September 1988 and June 1991. The <br /> site investigation at that time did not include investigating for 1,2-DCA. <br /> The analytical results of the groundwater samples collected from October 2002 through <br /> July 2003, from the three on site monitoring wells, confirm that there is a 1,2-DCA <br /> contaminant plume at this site. The City of Lodi has a well within 1000 feet of the site. <br /> Since the results for 1,2-DCA are confirmed to be substantially over the Maximum <br /> Contaminant Level for drinking water for this chemical, you are required to define the <br /> lateral and vertical extent Geotrac erround and place these in the Local Oversight Progrcontaminant plume. EHD will open a <br /> current closed case m. <br /> Submit a work plan to EHD to investigate the lateral and vertical extent of the 1,2-DCA <br /> contaminant plume by January 13, 2004. <br /> For your information, there is a site at 16 S. Cherokee, Lodi, that also has a 1,2-DCA <br /> contaminant plume.
