Margaret Lagorio [EH] • •
From: Jim Barton [BartonJ@rb5s.swrcb.ca.gov]
Sent: Thursday, September 16, 2004 8:39 AM
To: Margaret Lagorio [EH]; Nuel Henderson [EH]
Subject: 16 Cherokee Ln, Lodi
Margaret,
AGE investigated this site in 2002 down to 135 feet bgs in the source area and to 110 feet
bgs near MW-12 (200' to the south) . As I stated yesterday, only trace amounts of gasoline
constituents (but no 1,2-DCA) were initially detected in one of the two deep wells
screened at 90'-100' bgs near the source area. All deep wells are now ND for everything.
The 1,2-DCA appears to be concentrated in shallow groundwater 60'-70' bgs.
Nuel,
AGE divides the aquifer into three hydrologic units (HUs) : 45'-68' bgs, 68 '-96' bgs, and
96'-140' bgs. The cross- section shows coarse sands/gravels as interconnected lenses
occurring in the first and second HUs. The third HU is drawn as a laterally discontinuous
(to the north) coarse sand/gravel unit between 112'-118' bgs, extending over 400'
laterally from the source area to the southern extent of the cross section (MW-17) .
Let me know if you need additional information.
Thanks.
Jim
James L.L.
