In September 1988,RESNA observed the removal of a 550-gallon waste-oil tank east of the <br /> station building (shown on Plate 2) (Applied GeoSystems, November 29, 1988) Results <br /> indicated soil with residual waste-oil remained in place at approximately 7 feet below grade <br /> (Table 1) <br /> r <br /> Drilling Near Former Waste-Oil Tank Cavity <br /> In May 1990,borings B-1 and B-3 were drilled approximately 5 feet beyond the limits of the <br /> excavation to evaluate the lateral extent of the residual waste oil Boring B-2 was drilled <br /> through the former cavity to evaluate the vertical extent of soil with residual waste oil <br /> (RESNA, December 18, 1990) Borings B-1 and B-2 were terminated at 60 feet below <br /> grade, approximately 112 foot below ground water Boring B-3 was terminated at 25-112 <br /> feet below grade The boring locations are shown on Plate 2 <br /> 1. <br /> 38048-5 2 <br /> i <br />
