Mr. Lloyd Gums A91701.01 C
September 20, 1996 Page 7
LIMITATIONS
Estimates of the mass and volume of diesel and gasoline PPCs in soil below the
northwestern dispenser island are based on a conservative linear attenuation assumption.
Actual quantities of PPCs in soil may vary from the quantities estimated.
Twining was responsible only for soil sampling at the site and testing of the soil samples
collected in the field. Soil sample locations and scope of testing were specified by a
representative of the SJCPHS.
No investigation is thorough enough to characterize all sub-surface conditions which may
exist at a given site. If conditions of interest have not been identified during the assessment,
such a finding should not therefore be construed as a guarantee of the absence of such
conditions on the site, but rather as the result of the services performed within the scope,
limitations and cost of the work performed. This report completes the scope of Twining's
services for this site.
This work was performed to the standard of practice for environmental consultants in San
Joaquin County at the time the work was performed, no other warranty, expressed or
implied is made.
