Five soil samples were taken directly from the <br /> I <br /> Piping trench at a depth of approximately 3 feet . The five <br /> r <br /> samples were labeled #23SS-PIPE-A, - -C, -D, and -E. <br /> The soil samples from the excavation were taken by <br /> driving a clean brass sleeve into soil brought to the t <br /> surface in the backhoe bucket . All <br /> piping soil samples were ' <br /> taken by driving a clean brass sleevee directly into the <br /> trench soil with a wooden mallet . The samples were sealed <br /> with aluminum foil , ca �I <br /> Aped, wrapped ,with plastic tape, <br /> labeled, placed in iced storage, andlwere delivered under <br /> i. <br /> chain-of- <br /> custody procedures to GeoAnalytical Laboratories in <br /> Modesto, California, for analysis.
