Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> SITE STATUS AND REPORT DUE DATES FOR THE KAYO SITES IN SAN <br /> JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Regional Board staff have been working closely with Kayo Oil <br /> Company now for several years and we believe that Kayo is now <br /> responding in a timely and professional manner to Regional Board <br /> and County requests. Kayo's present philosophy appears to be to <br /> have their sites cleaned up as rapidly as possible to the <br /> satisfaction of both the Regional Board and the County. At <br /> present, some minor delays are occurring at some sites in <br /> attempting to obtain permission from property owners for either <br /> monitoring well installation or remediation equipment <br /> installation. Almost all the Central Valley Kayo sites should be <br /> in the remedial phase by the end of the year. <br /> Up-to-date tables indicating report due dates for Kayo sites <br /> handled by the Sacramento Office of the Regional Board are <br /> enclosed for your information. Also enclosed are the most recent <br /> site status reports sent to the Regional Board by Kayo. <br /> I will be leaving at the end of the month to join a small <br /> consulting company. I have enjoyed working with you and your <br /> staff on the Kayo sites in your county.
