Box 190 )trct <br /> Lodi, CA 95241 <br /> PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR KAYO OIL FACILITY AT <br /> LANE, LODI, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The recommendations in the Preliminary Report, prepared by Alpha <br /> Geotechnical Consultants, Inc. , and submitted by Kayo, for. 900 S. <br /> Cherokee Lane, Lodi, are acceptable. Regional Board staff have <br /> the following comments: <br /> - Past experience throughout the Central Valley indicates that <br /> shallow ground water gradients can vary both in magnitude <br /> and direction over time. An additional second phase well <br /> may be necessary to the north-northwest of the site (in the <br /> vicinity of the plugged and abandoned MW-11) depending on <br /> the results of the first phase of drilling. <br /> Your consultant has referred to the State LUFT guidance <br /> document in the . Preliminary Report. Keep in mind that the <br /> LUFT field guide is being rewritten. Please check with. us <br /> before using it during contaminated ground water <br /> investigations. <br /> - Please specify who is 'responsible for drill spoils and purge <br /> water collected during well development and sampling.
