It is my understanding that it will bet leased <br /> to another party. <br /> Applied GeoSystems has prepared a remediation plan for the site <br /> and has submitted it to Fresno County and the Fresno Branch, <br /> Central Valley Region, RWQCB. RWQCB requested several minor <br /> changes in Scope of Work. Plan resubmitted September, 1987, <br /> awaiting response. <br /> Fast Gas Station <br /> 1400 Yosemite Parkway <br /> Merced, CA <br /> Remediation Consultant: Groundwater Technology, Inc.' <br /> This site is owned by Kayo but will b6 sold. 'Kayo will retain <br /> the responsibility for cleaning up the existing contamination at <br /> the site. <br /> A groundwater recovery and treatment system was installed at <br /> this site in January 1986. To date its operation has recovery <br /> more than 1600 gallons of gasoline. The contaminated water is <br /> treated with an air stripper and is discharged to the sanitary <br /> sewer. <br /> The . ISB system is completely installed and fully operational <br /> F_ with..peroxide being on line since September ;24, 1987.
