HYDROCARBON RECOVERY SYSTEM <br /> PRINCIPAL OF OPERATION <br /> Page Two <br /> When a groundwater depression pump is employed in the system, the discharge <br /> from the pump is passed through the water feed tank and then on through the <br /> balance of the water treatment system. <br /> An optional solar volatilization bed can be added to the air stripping tower <br /> discharge if additional polishing or retention time is necessary. <br /> This sytem is so designed that it can be adapted to a bioreclamation or <br /> biostimulation procedure, if desired. <br /> All electrical devices connected to this system are explosion proof and will <br /> be installed in accordance with local fire and electrical codes. <br />
