REDDING OFFICE
530-246-9499 ph
SACRAMENTO OFFICE
MPE 916-927-7000 ph
MID PACIFIC ENGINEERING, INC.
GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING I EARTHWORK TESTING I MATERIALS ENGINEERING AND TESTING I CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION
To whom it may concern,
I am submitting a permit application to the San Joaquin County, Environmental Health
Department, for a vertical soil boring that will be performed for a Geotechnical Investigation.
Included in this submittal is the permit application, a plot plan with a google earth image
showing the location of our borings, and this work plan. Payment will be paid through credit
card once approved
Once this permit is approved;the drilling date will be scheduled. We will drill six borings to a
depth of approximately 10 to 25 feet below existing grade. Soil samples will be obtained in 5
feet increments and will be taken back to our lab. A boring log will be prepared during the
drilling including soil descriptions and blow counts for every sample taken. An inspector will
be scheduled at least 24 hours prior the date of the boring. Hard hats, vests, and protective
shoes will be worn at all times. At the end of our drilling and sampling, the boring will be
sealed with Neat Cement. When this permit is finalized, it would be convenient if it's emailed
to me for our records.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or email me.
Thank you,
Martin Osier
Martinosier@midpacificeng.com
(916)5oo-8006
