The depth to ground water ranged from 64 33 to <br /> 71 30 feet below the top of the well casings Ground water table elevations in the monitoring wells <br /> have decreased approximately 2 feet on average suice the previous monitoring event in June 1992. <br /> A summary of ground water table elevations recorded at the site since June 1991 is included in <br /> Table 1 Enclosure B contains ground water table data since January 1988 <br /> The ground water table elevation data recorded on September 17, 1992, were used to construct the <br /> water table contour map included as Figure 3 The water table contours indicate the inferred <br /> direction of ground water flow across the site was toward the southwest with an average hydraulic <br /> gradient of 0 08, which is consistent with previous data The soil vapor extraction system at the site <br /> was in operation during the measurement of ground water levels, which may have an affect on the <br /> inferred direction of ground water flow and on the hydraulic gradient.
