American Paving Systems, Inc. <br /> a. General site layout <br /> All Fuel Oil products on American Paving Systems, Inc.'s site are properly stored and used in <br /> a safe manner. All of the Motor Fuel is contained within the Single Wall steel tanks. No release is <br /> expected from this system. No discharge of Fuel Oil products release is expected and great care is <br /> taken to prevent such a release. The motor fuel containment and dispensing area is located near <br /> the tank of the facility operations. The Fuel Storage Tank's containment system is constructed <br /> from concrete and no product release is expected to reach the ground or water systems. The #2 <br /> Diesel fuel tank is equipped with fill adapter and fuel monitoring. Care is taken when loading fuel <br /> into the#2 Diesel fuel tank. <br /> b. Buried piping installation, protection and examination procedures <br /> American Paving Systems, Inc. has no buried tanks or piping on site. <br /> c. Pipe support design <br /> The piping supports on American Paving Systems,Inc.Fuel operations are used in the transfer <br /> of Fuel throughout the system. All of the piping is rigid and the supports are used to secure the <br /> �— transfer lines. <br /> d. Aboveground valve and pipeline examinations <br /> American Paving Systems,Inc. will examine all of the aboveground valves,the piping will be <br /> inspected throughout the daily operation and careful examinations of all the potential release points <br /> will be examined daily.The conditions of the flexible pipes, flanges,locking valves metal surfaces <br /> and any other areas that have a high expectancy of releases will be inspected throughout the <br /> operation. Official inspections of the system and its operation will be performed monthly and <br /> recorded on the forms found in Appendix B & C in the SPCC plan. <br /> e. Aboveground piping protection from vehicular traffic <br /> All aboveground piping and transfer systems are and will always be protected from vehicular <br /> traffic. The tank is protected by raised concrete. The entire #2 Diesel fuel storage systems are <br /> secure, isolated and protected from vehicular traffic.Vehicles that arrive to deliver#2 Diesel fuels <br /> are escorted and travel to a secure area beyond the gates that secure the tank area.Facility personnel <br /> are there to allow the fuel delivery driver access to the#2 Diesel tank.No 42 Diesel is expected to <br /> be released, but in the event of a release trained and certified employees will have the necessary <br /> materials to contain, control and clean-up the release. <br /> - - <br /> Vv-.� Li C14 <br />
