(AGE) abandoned <br /> three ground water monitoring wells at 104 Nest l I`' Street in Tracy, California. <br /> Three 2-inch diameter ground .stater monitoring Nti-ells were installed as part of a subsurface investigation of <br /> the fonrner underground storage tank (UST) area at the site. Each rnonitoring well was installed to a depth of <br /> approximately 28 feet below surface grade (bsg). In accordance %vit:h San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) guidelines, all three monitoring wells at the site were <br /> abandoned on 7 November 1997 to obtain final conditional site closuic. <br /> During well abandonment, each well was filled with a Portland Type II grout to six inches bsg; 40 psi pressure <br /> was applied to each well for approximately five minutes to ensure grout penetration into the filter pack. <br /> Follonving pressure grouting the abandoned wells were sealed with neat cement.
