Quarterly Sampling Report, Groundwater Monitoring Welts - Stan Morri Ford Dealership - 'Racy, California Murray & Associates is forwarding for your review and consideration the following' analytical. results stemming from the first two rounds of groundwater monitoring at the Stan Morri Ford Dealership, 104 West 11th Street, "Tracy, California. The purgeable haiocarbon contamination present is well below the EPA's drinking water standards Primary MCLS (Maximum Contaminant Level) and the State of California Action Levels. Shallow groundwater at the site was encountered at a depth of 12 feet below the asphalt- covered surface of the Ford Dealership. Regional groundwater flow direction is still generally to the northeast. All apparatus was brought to the site clean and in serviceable condition. Following the purging and sampling of each subsequent well, all equipment was steam-cleaned and washed in a solution of liquinox organic cleaner, rinsed in deionized water and allowed to air dry. Groundwater sampling protocols call for the evacuation of a sufficient volume of water froin the well to insure that the sample is collected from water that has been newly drawn into the well from the surrounding geologic formation. This effluent water is currently stored on-site in new DOT 17 E drums. Only effluent water removed from monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-3 is being contained on-site.
