February 2002 Quarterly Ground Water Monitoring <br /> 1645 Cherokee Lane,Stockton,CA <br />' Hydro-Environmental Technologies,Inc <br />' found in the ground water samples submitted for analysis Because no TPH as gasoline was detected in <br /> the initial and first quarter ground water monitoring event, PHS/EHD removed the five fuel oxygenates, <br /> 1,2-DCA and EDB from the ground water monitoring rounds <br />' During the August 2001 sampling round, MW-2 and MW-3 were dry and no samples were collected A <br /> sample was collected from MW-1, however, the laboratory's quality control failed to produce results <br /> within acceptable detection ranges Also in August 2001, one additional ground water monitoring well <br /> (MW-4) was installed per the request of PHS/EHD A report of that investigation can be found under <br /> separate cover <br />' Dunng the November 2001 sampling round, all of the ground water monitoring wells were dry (MW-1 to <br /> MW-4) <br /> Figure 1 is a site location map, Figure 2 is the DP soil boring and ground water monitoring well locations <br />' map <br /> 2.0 GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLE METHODOLOGY <br /> The ground water monitoring and sample analysis was conducted in accordance with approved U S <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) methods, California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 23 <br />' procedures, and guidelines from the PHD/EHD This investigation was conducted under the direct <br /> supervision of a California Registered Geologist (R G ) <br />' 2.1 Health and Safety Plan <br /> For this investigation, HETI personnel revised the site specific health and safety (H&S) pian in <br /> accordance with the requirements of the USEPA 29 CFR 1910 120 and California Cal-OSHA GISO <br /> 5192 All on-site HETI and subcontractor personnel were required to adhere to the H&S plan and were <br /> required to have had 29 CFR 1910 120 training and its annual update The HETI project manager had the <br />' appropriate 29 CFR 1910 120 and California GISO 5192 eight-hour supervisor's course <br /> 2.2 Ground Water Measurements and Sampling <br />' On February 9, 2002, HETI measured and sampled the subject site's ground water from the developed <br /> monitoring wells During the current sampling round, three of the four ground water monitoring wells <br />' were dry (MW-2 to MW-4) There was a small amount of water in MW-1 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br />
