J. Hunter & Associates <br /> April, 1996 <br /> PROJECT SUMMARY: <br /> In December, 1989, two (2) 8, 000 gallon gasoline UST's & product <br /> lines were removed from the property by Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc . <br /> (JTO. ) Four (4) soil samples were taken from beneath the tanks, <br /> and tested for BTEX, EDB, TVH (as gasoline, ) & organic lead. The <br /> sample labeled 1-West revealed minor amounts of xylenes, all <br /> others analyses were below detection limits. Refer to EXHIBIT A <br /> for a copy of the laboratory results of those samples, and a <br /> sketch showing their locations . Permits, Tank tracking records <br /> and other documentation covering that work was furnished to the <br /> County in 1990 . The removed spoil was stored on the property, <br /> and the excavation left open and fenced off . <br /> By letter dated March 15, 1995, the San Joaquin County PHS, <br /> Environmental Health Division notified the property owner that <br /> additional work would be required before the site could be <br /> closed. A copy of that letter is included as EXHIBIT B. <br /> Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc. (JTO, ) submitted a workplan to the County <br /> EHD on June 7, 1995, proposing to reenter the two excavations, <br /> remove additional soil, and take appropriate samples . A copy of <br /> that workplan is included as EXHIBIT C. <br /> On September 18, 1995, Wm. J. Hunter & Associates (WJH) submitted <br /> an addendum to that workplan (see EXHIBIT D, ) which was approved <br /> with modifications by the San Joaquin County EHD on March 18, <br /> 1996; (refer to EXHIBIT E. ) <br /> This report covers the results of work performed under the <br /> approved workplans. <br /> PROPERTY LOCATION: <br /> 2235 Cherokee Road, Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> PROPERTY OWNER: <br /> Jerrol Largin, same address; Phone No. (209) 463-8772 . <br /> REGIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SETTING: <br /> 1 <br />
