Excavation of the site of the removed UST's will be under the <br /> direct supervision of a Registered Geologist from Wm. J. Hunter & <br /> Associates, (WJH.) <br /> 2. Soil sample locations will be selected by the geologist and <br /> approved by the representative of the County MM. <br /> 3. Soil samples will be taken from the teeth of the backhoe <br /> bucket, promptly sealed, labeled, and preserved on ice pending <br /> transport under chain of custody to FGL laboratories for <br /> analysis. Instructions will be given to analyze for BTEX and TPH <br /> as gasoline using detection limits approved by the County EHD. <br /> The soil samples taken & analyzed by McLaren Labs in 1989 were <br /> all below detection limits for lead; that analysis will not be <br /> run. <br /> 4. The removed spoil and the existing spoil pile will be sampled <br /> the SAN JOA UIN COUNTY onomi�lmetshodforrprofiling purposes to determine the most <br /> Q disposing of the material. <br /> PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES Upon completion of the work, and receipt and analysis of all <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION Yaboratory analyses, a report will be prepared by Wm.
