DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based upon data collected from the site, AGE concludes the following <br /> C Ground water elevation rose approximately eleven feet at the site between the December <br /> 1997 and March 1998 monitoring events Ground water has risen to approximately 10 feet <br /> above the screened Interval in UST-2, UST-3 and UST-4 Ground water was approximately <br /> one foot above the screened Interval In UST-5 Ground water has been above the screened <br /> interval in UST-1 since Installation in 1990 <br /> C Concentrations of TPH-g and TPH-d increased significantly In UST-5 Ground water may <br /> have risen to contact additional hydrocarbon-Impacted soil <br /> c Hydrocarbon concentrations showed only small fluctuations in UST-1 through UST-4 <br /> c The concentrations of benzene and DCA In UST-5 were above the State of California <br /> drinking water Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) during the March 1998 monitoring <br /> event <br /> 6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based upon data obtained from the site, AGE recommends the following <br /> • Further assessment of the extent of impacted soil will be required by the FHS-EHD A work <br /> plan to fully assess Impacted soil at the site should be prepared <br /> • Schedule the next quarterly monitoring event for June 1998 Monitoring wells UST-2 <br /> through UST-5 will be sampled at that time <br /> 7.0. LIMITATIONS <br /> Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by <br /> environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly <br /> upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation of the <br /> geo log ic/hydrogeolo gic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from <br /> a limited number of available data points (i a ground water samples, soil samples) and subsurface <br /> conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or Implied, is made <br /> as to the professional recommendations contained in this report <br /> Advanced GcoEn\Iroumcntal,Inc <br />
