07 August 1997 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 97-0312 <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> o Petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations decreased in monitoring wells UST-2, UST-3 and <br /> UST-4, hydrocarbon concentrations increased In UST-5 <br /> • Only the concentration of benzene in UST-5 was above the State of California drinking water <br /> Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) during the June 1997 monitoring event <br /> 42 RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> A work plan for the removal of six USTs at the site has been approved by the PHS-EHD The UST <br /> removal is planned for early September 1997 <br /> Based upon data obtained during the June 1997 sampling events and review of previous data, AGE <br /> has the following recommendations <br /> C The next quarterly monitoring should be scheduled for September 1997 <br /> 5 0. LIMITATIONS <br /> Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by <br /> environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly <br /> upon analytical results provided by an Independent laboratory Evaluation of the <br /> geologic/hydrogeologtc conditions at the site for the purpose of this Investigation was made from <br /> a limited number of available data points (I e ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may <br /> vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the <br /> professional recommendations contained In this report <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />:.1 <br />
