Cecchuu, Cecchm and Gnovannont Fueling Island <br /> 16 <br /> 4.0 Resufts <br /> 4.1 Ground Wa ter IERevafn®rn Data <br /> Ground water elevations measured in monitoring wells UST-1 through UST-4 on December 20, <br /> 1995 are presented in Table 1 The average depth to ground water (as measured from the top of <br /> casing for each monitoring well) was approximately 65 5 feet below ground surface (bgs) The <br /> ground water level noted this quarter have risen approximately 3 4 feet since last quarter No <br /> free product was observed in any of the wells <br /> Figure 3 - Ground Water Elevations shows ground water flow beneath the site on December 20, <br /> 1995, to be toward the east to northeast over the entire site and locally towards UST-1 at a <br /> gradient of approximately 0 003 feet per foot (15 5 feet per mile) The gradient appears flatter in <br /> the northern portion of the site The difference in gradient is likely due to pumping influences of <br /> the onsite wells The findings are consistent with the data of previous monitoring events ESE <br /> observed that the well box for well UST-1 had broken, however, the sealing cap was in <br /> satisfactory condition The remaining ground water monitoring wells appeared in good condition <br /> This flow direction is similar to regional flow direction interpreted from San Joaquin County <br /> LWJ Spring 1994 Ground Water Report Maps (San Joaquin County Flood, 1994) <br /> 4.2 Ground Water AIInaIlyfleall Results <br /> The ground water sample from UST-1 was analyzed at the laboratory for <br /> o Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as (TPH-D) using EPA Method 3550/8015 <br /> Modified, and <br /> 0 Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) using EPA Method 503018015, <br /> and <br /> o Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes (BTEX) using EPA Method <br /> 5030/8020 <br /> The trip blank was only analyzed for BTEX Analytical results for wells UST-1 through UST-4 <br /> are listed in Table 2 - Summary of Ground Water Samples Analytical Results The certified <br /> analytical reports are presented in (Appendix B) 4n December 20, 1995, ground water from <br /> UST-1 and UST-2 were reported to contain only TPH-D at a concentrations of 460 micrograms <br /> per liter (Ag/l) and 540 jug/1, respectively TPH-D was reported as non-detect in ground water <br /> f 159254001gtrly rptl4gtr95 rpt 5 Environmental Science&Engineering, Inc <br />
