FOURTH (QUARTER 1993
GROUND SWAT ER MONETORI NG REPORT
3535 E. CHEROKEE ROAD, STOCK'l ON, CAILHIF®I1 M A
1.0 IIN'II`II8®I<DIJC'1I`)I®N
The following report documents Fourth Quarter 1993 Ground Water Monitoring for the
fueling island area of the subject site (Figure 1 - Vicinity Map) In addition, this report
documents two additional tasks performed this quarter that are related to the project.
1.1 BACIKQRQUND
One well, designated USB=1, is located in the fueling island (Figure 2 - Relative Ground
Water Elevation- November 4, 1993) Well UST-1 had problems with leakage of fuel from
the surface and was repaired twice within the last year. The latest repair was made in
March 1993 when ESE placed a second cover and re-fitted the water tight seal on the well.
In October 1992 ESE implemented a quarterly monitoring program that includes well UST-
1. As of July 1, 1993 the monitoring program also included water level measurements in
three additional ground water monitoring wells located in the northern portion of the site.
For the Tbird Quarter 1993, two onsite non-transient, non-community water supply wells
were sampled in accordance p o ce wi h
t a request from the Mr Ray Borges of San Joaquin County
PublicHealth Department Analytical results for the two water supply wells, "big" and
'
small+, reported nondetectable hydrocarbon constituents for all analytes and all drinking
water constituents within regulatory thresholds for these values. The San Joaquin County
Public Health Department recently sent a letter to the site owners with the new monitoring
requirements for these wells. It is our understanding that the water supply well monitoring
is separate from the ground water monitoring performed for the underground tank program
The water supply well analysis will be reported separately to Mr Borges by Mr Robert
Cecchuu.
1-\6n54W\4QTRGWM RPr 1 Environmental Science do Engmmwg,Inc
