Geological Technics lru. <br /> Soil Investigation Report Page 4 <br /> Project No. 1128.2 <br /> t <br /> March 11,2004 <br /> j C 3.0 SCHEDULE &REPORTING <br /> Geological Technics Inc. performed the fieldwork during the month of December 2003 and <br /> the final removal of contaminated water was performed 'by Clean Harbor on January 3, <br /> 2004. <br /> The information gathered during this phase of work is presented in this report. Dr. Ray <br /> Kablanow, a registered geologist, supervised this project. Copies of the report will be <br />{ forwarded to San Joaquin County.Environmental Health Department. <br /> 4.0 CONCLUSIONS <br /> i <br /> After performing soil investigations at 9 points aroundi[the septic tanks and leach lines, GTI <br /> concludes that none of the contaminants introduced to the septic system were released to the <br /> soil. No further action is recommended. <br /> j <br /> 5.0 LIMITATIONS t <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the generally accepted standard of care and <br /> practice in effect at the time services were rendered. I 1should be recognized that definition <br /> and evaluation of environmental conditions is an inexact science and that the state or <br /> Lt practice of enviromnental geology/hydrology is changing and evolving and that standards <br /> existing at the present time may change as knowledge increases and the state of the practice <br /> continues to improve. Further, that differing subsurface soil characteristics can be <br /> p g { <br /> experienced within a small distance and therefore cannot be known in an absolute sense. <br /> All conclusions and recommendations are based on the'available data and information. <br /> The tasks proposed and completed during this project Were reviewed and approved by the <br /> local regulatory agency for compliance with the law.
