Wastewater from the <br /> truck wash is captured and hauled to the land application site, where it is pumped into a holding <br /> tank prior to being land applied to approximately 113 acres of fruit trees. Wastewater is applied <br /> to the orchards by sprinkler. <br /> On 13 February 2012 Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board staff inspected the <br /> land application area. Below is a summary of staff's observations. A photographic inspection <br /> log is enclosed. <br /> 1. Land application of wastewater was occurring at the time of staff's inspection. <br /> 2. No odors or nuisance conditions were observed at the perimeter of the land application <br /> area. <br /> 3. No runoff of wastewater from the land application area was observed. <br /> In summary, no violations of Order 98-077 were observed at the time of inspection. <br /> Additionally, staff has reviewed monitoring reports for the period of August through December <br /> 2012 (inclusive) and note no deficiencies or violations at this time.
