February 13, 1988
Delta Truck Sales, Stockton, California AGS Job No. 2005-p
Schedule of Opera_ tions
Initial field work - excavation and collection of soil samples
will proceed as soon as logistically possible after approval of
the proposed procedures by the CRWQCB. The scheduling of initial
work will be the responsibility of Kip Prahl Associates, with the
concurrence of the CRWQCB. Analytical results of soil samples
generated during this initial phase should be available
approximately 15 days after sample collection. At that time, a
decision can be made as to whether the excavation should be
enlarged to remove unacceptably contaminated material . We would
expect that the excavation could be backfilled approximately a
weeks after the initial excavation, with the approval of the
CRWQCB.
Immediately after backfilling, the ground-water monitoring well
will be installed, developed, and sampled. Results of ground-
water analyses should be available approximately 17 days after
initiation of drilling operations or approximately 6 to 7 weeks
after commencement of field work.
After initial assessment of the character of contamination in the
soil piles, clean material will be returned to the excavation
i
16
t
