5.0 LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> i <br /> Soil and groundwater samples were submitted to Geotest, a State of California <br /> EPA-certified hazardous waste laboratory 10 <br /> (Environmental Laboratory <br /> Accreditation Program #1225), located in Long; Beach, California, by an <br /> overnight carrier. A complete copy of the laboratory analytical report and chain- <br /> of-custody documentation are contained in Appendix D. <br /> 5.1 SOIL TESTING <br /> One soil sample collected from each of the four soil ,borings was submitted to the <br /> laboratory for analysis. The depths of the soil samples were as follows: MW 1 <br /> at 10.5-11 feet bgs, MW-2 at 10.5-11 feet bgs, MW-3 at 10.5-11 feet bgs, and <br /> L SB-4 at 9-9.5 feet bgs. These samples were analyzed for TPH-G by DOHS <br /> Method and BTEX by EPA Method 8020. A summa of the analytical results i <br /> summary Y s <br /> provided in Table 1. <br /> 5.2 GROUNDWATER TESTING <br /> Two episodes of groundwater samples were collected from the three monitoring <br /> wells installed on the subject site on February 29, 1996, and April 5, 1996. <br /> These samples were analyzed for TPH-G by DOHS Method and BTEX by EPA <br /> Method 8020.
