I <br /> have also enclosed check number 4142 for$89 for the application fee. <br /> The activities planned during the Phase III Remedial Investigation at DDRW-Tracy include <br /> installation of 19 soil borings up to 35 feet deep for the collection of soil samples. Two <br /> hydropunch samples will also be collected in 2 additional borings. The work plan <br /> amendment for this project is attached; it is a continuation of the project which was <br /> performed at the depot last fall, and therefore the work plan provided to you then will still <br /> be used to specify field procedures. <br /> The abandonment will be performed by Gregg Drilling and Testing, Inc. of Martinez, <br /> California. The contractor has been informed that their license and insurance information <br /> should be placed on file with San Joaquin County; I understand this has already been done. <br /> Drilling operations are scheduled to begin on Monday, May 22, 1995 and last until Friday, <br /> May 26, 1995. Paul Short will be Project Hydrogeologist on-site.
