We have a single comment regarding Executive Summary, <br /> Section ES 1.4. <br /> Section ES 1.4 states "During Q498, five additional wells were <br /> installed: EW40AU, EW41AU, EW42AU, EW43AU, and EW44AU. These wells were <br /> installed as a ROD--required response to pesticide concentrations found in <br /> samples near SWMU 3 and SWMU 8. . ." These extraction wells are not discussed <br /> further in the report, but their locations are shown in Figure 1.1-2A. <br /> However, none of these wells are located near SWMU 8, despite Section ES1.4 <br /> and the selected remedy for SWMU 8. Per the Site-Wide Comprehensive ROD, <br /> Section 9.5. 10, "The selected remedy for dieldren consists of installing <br /> groundwater extraction wells in the following areas: SWMUs 2 and 3 (one <br /> well) , SWMU 8 (two wells) , and the Annex (at least four wells) .
