Pursuant to the terms of the FFA, EPA is providing <br /> comments within 60 days. <br /> EPA believes it would be advantageous for DLA to better define data requirements (i.e., <br /> objectives) for Phase I, Phase U and the Comprehensive RI/FS. Consequently, EPA has requested <br /> further clarification on the establishment and evaluation of DQOs. A clear understanding and <br /> concurrence on DQOs will help assure adequacy of the database and minimize the need for additional, <br /> often costly, resampling. In a related subject, EPA is requesting that DLA provide the statistical tests, <br /> anticipated in the Comprehensive RDFS Work Plan, to strengthen the site-specific recommendations <br /> for "no further investigation." <br /> We look forward to our meeting to discuss our comments.
