31. Section 4.2.5 <br /> The words "preliminary" in reference to standards for treated effluent do not belong <br /> in the ROD. The ROD is the documentation of the standards. <br /> Corrective Action: Delete the word "preliminary" in the first and last parts of this <br /> section. <br /> 32. Section 4.2.5 <br /> "BAT" is not a standard which can be met unless it is expressed as a number. <br /> Corrective Action: State in the text numerically the effluent treatment standards are <br /> that are being documented in this ROD. <br /> 33. Section 4.2.6 <br /> Regarding the six effluent standards which are set in the draft ROD, the text states <br /> that "no other effluent treatment standards are established at this time because other <br /> chemicals found in the OU #1 plume groundwater . .'. are not expected to be present <br /> in significant concentrations . . . or are believed to be naturally occurring (e.g., <br /> boron, nitrate and metals)."
