Box 960001 <br /> Stockton, CA 95296-0250 <br /> RE: EPA Comments on Risk Assessment and the Comprehensive RI/FS Work Plan <br /> Dear Marshall, <br /> By tele-conference with EPA on December 30, 1992, it was confirmed that DDRW- <br /> Tracy would address EPA's risk assessment concerns by: (1) providing an evaluation of the <br /> adequacy of detection limits compared to PRGs and (2) reviewing EPA's comments on the <br /> risk assessment portion of the Comprehensive Work Plan to assure that there would not be <br /> any outstanding issues. EPA is re-transmitting selected comments (attached) on the risk <br /> assessment portion of the Comprehensive RI/FS work plan: <br /> 06 MAR 92 EPA comments, draft Comprehensive RI/FS Work Plan, Attachment 11. <br /> 01 JUN 92 EPA comments, draft final Comprehensive RI/FS Work Plan, <br /> Attachment II. <br /> 27 JUN 92 EPA letter summarizing agreements (including risk assessment) <br /> reached at meeting of June 15-16, 1992. <br /> 02 DEC 92 EPA comments on the Comprehensive RI/FS risk assessment SO\4'. <br /> At the project manager meeting of January 13, 1993, DDRW-Tracy acknowledged <br /> that EPA's risk assessment comments had yet to be re-reviewed, but agreed to provide in the <br /> BRA work plan a preliminary identification of exposure pathways and example risk <br /> calculations per pathway.
