EPA is <br /> pleased that DDRW-Tracy and your representative, the Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, have <br /> both expressed a desire to shorten the revised proposed schedule. <br /> Following a submission of a revised proposed FFA schedule (as has been submitted <br /> on December 7, 1992) Section 8.2 of the FFA for DDRW-Tracy provides for a 30-day <br /> finalization period. Section 8.2 states "if the parties jail to agree Ivilhitl 30 days at the <br /> proposed deadlines, the matter shall immediately be submitted for dispiue resolution . . .". EPA <br /> provided suggestions for streamlining the schedule on December 21, 1992. In order to allow <br /> time to continue to consider means for shortening the schedule without necessitating the <br /> FFA dispute process, EPA is recommending an extension to the period for finalization of <br /> the proposed schedule from 30 days to 45 days (i.e, from January 6, 1993 to January 21, <br /> 1993). DDRW-Tracy and Cal-EPA-DTSC have concurred on this extension.
