The following agencies responded to the request: <br /> 1. San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District (SJCAPCD) <br /> The SJCAPCD response letter is enclosed as attachment 1. <br /> The SJCAPCD cited District Rule 409 . 9 which applies to the <br /> remediation of contaminated soil. The District also <br /> requires a screening health risk assessment taking into <br /> account the substances listed in the CAPCOA Risk Assessment <br /> Guideline. It is the District 's policy to limit the <br /> increase in cancer risks to less than 10 in one million. <br /> The District also cites the California Health and Safety <br /> Code Section 42301. 6 - 42301. 9. That Section requires <br /> public notification if a site is within 1000 feet of a <br /> school (K-12) . <br /> 2 . Department of Health Services, Office of Drinking Water <br /> (DHS) <br /> The DHS cited Title 22 of the California Code of <br /> Regulations, Chapter 15, California Domestic Drinking Water_ <br /> Quality and Monitoring Regulations. Applicable drinking <br /> water standards are listed in Articles 3 through 8 of <br /> Chapter 15. <br /> I1 <br />
