Defense Depot Tracy
_3_ 27 May 1988
DDT should develop two plans with schedules that encompass all
pertinent cleanup activities. The first plan could be in the
form of a one year time-line diagram addressing commencement and
completion dates of all RI FS tasks. The annual schedule could
also include check points for review, and orientation and
discussion meetings as deemed necessary by the regulatory
agencies or DDT. The second plan could be a long term master
plan, for the entire cleanup process including Remedial Action
Plan, Remedial Design, implementation of Remedial Actions, and
Operation and Maintenance. The dates would be projected with
more flexibility to reflect the nature of long term planning.
These plans should be submitted for review and approval within 60
days.
If you have any questions regarding this letter, please call
Robert Niblack at (916) 361-5681, or Jim Pinasco of the
Department of
Health Services at (916) 924-2154.
ANTON K.
