Box 960001
Stockton, CA 95296-0250
RE: DD-Tracy FFA Schedule Extension dated June 1, 2000
Dear Dale,
EPA wishes to thank DLA for the letter of June 1, 2000, requesting an
extension to the FFA schedule for two primary documents:
1. Draft remedial action work plan for SWMU 4 from 30JUN00 to 30JAN01
2. Draft remedial action report for SWMUs 6, 20/SB-204, and 27 from 30MAR00
to 30OCT00.
While it is not apparent to EPA that the funding issues described in
your letter constitute `good cause' per the terms of Section 9 of the FFA, EPA
will not challenge these extensions. However, please confirm that the latest
schedule and milestones for DD-Tracy are programmed for funding and that the
remaining milestones in the schedule will be achieved on time.
Please feel free to contact me at 415-744-2411 or Michael Work at 415-
744-2392 if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Rich Seraydarian, Chief
Army and Pacific Islands Section
Federal Facilities Cleanup Office
Superfund Division (SFD-8-3)
cc: (See Distribution List)
