Box 960001
Stockton, CA 95296-0250
RE: DDRW-Tracy, Site-Wide Comprehensive ROD (DEC97)
Dear Marshall,
Thank you for the above referenced document received in our
offices on December 15, 1997. The FFA schedule identified a 45-day
period for finalization of this ROD. To enable the stakeholders to
resolve remaining issues, EPA is providing comments by the RPM-agreed
upon date January 23 , 1998 .
Some of our major comments reflect a need for further effort in
correcting text changes which have already been discussed (see
comments) , technical issues and resolving EPA counsel comments. We
are looking forward to resolving these issues/comments with all
stakeholders and we are willing to consider a brief extension to the
FFA-stipulated schedule for finalization of this document in order to
achieve consensus . We recommend a meeting of conference call at the
earliest opportunity to discuss resolution.
Please feel free to contact me at 415-744-2392 if you have any
questions or comments .
Sincerely,
1
17
Michael Work
Federal Facilities Cleanup Office
Superfund Division (SFD-8-3)
Attachments
A.
