The <br /> site is one of seven defense distribution depots in the Defense <br /> Logistics Agency system. <br /> Sampling results have indicated a number of chemicals of <br /> concern, including: lead (641 mg/kg) , Arsenic (11. 3 mg/kg) , <br /> Chromium (64 .9 mg/kg) , DDT (2 . 33 mg/kg) , oil/grease (12600 mg/kg) , <br /> gross alpha (45. 3 pCi/g) and various solvents. <br /> The scope of work for the site consists of geophysical survey, <br /> soil borings, soil gas survey, sediment and surface water sampling. <br /> DOCUMENT REVIEWED <br /> We reviewed the "Appendix C, Health & Safety Plan" for the <br /> Phase II Remedial Invest igation/Fes iblity Stydy for the Defense <br /> Distribution Region West-Tracy. Montgomery Watson prepared the HASP <br /> and will perform the work. The plan was undated. <br /> GENERAL COMMENTS <br /> The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has reviewed <br /> the HASP for compliance with Title 8, California Code of <br /> Regulations (8 CCR) , Section 5192 : "Health and Safety for Hazardous <br /> n <br /> ca <br /> P11W0 <br />
